Object

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the contractual relationship between SAS SALINENSIS and the customer in the context of Tiny House rental.

Acceptance of T&Cs

All bookings imply unreserved acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Arrival and departure

Arrival will be from 15H00. Late arrivals will be accepted but no physical reception by the owners will be possible after 6.30 pm.
Departure time is 11:00 am.

Cancellation

In the event of cancellation up to 1 month before the date of your stay, you will receive a full refund.
Between 1 month and 2 weeks before your stay, 50% of your stay will be refunded.
No refunds will be made for cancellations made 15 days prior to your stay, except in exceptional cases (death notice or medical certificate).

In the event of rain, wind or cloudy weather, overnight stays are maintained. However, for safety reasons, in the event of bad weather or strong winds (Orange or Red weather alert) SAS SALINENSIS will offer to postpone your night or cancel your stay. The customer will then be asked to choose a new booking date or a full refund. Under no circumstances will SAS SALINENSIS be held responsible for any travel and/or accommodation expenses incurred by the customer.

Modification

Any changes to your stay (adding a person to the Tiny House Cuesta, adding or removing breakfast) will be possible up to 1 week before your stay. Please send your request by e-mail to salinensis@gmail.com.

Aperitif basket

If you wish to reserve an Aperitif Basket once you’ve arrived at your Tiny House, the reservation can only be made by text message. You’ll need to indicate your name, your Tiny House (Cuesta or Campestria) and the Aperitif Basket you’ve chosen.
Your basket will be delivered at a mutually agreed time.

Liability

SAS SALINENSIS cannot be held responsible for accidents, falls (in the Tiny House or from the terraces), loss or damage during the rental period.

Regulations

Reservations for one or more nights and breakfasts must be made via our website www.salinensis-tinyhouse.com or on the Airbnb, Booking and Greengo platforms. The full amount of the stay will be debited at the time of booking.

Capacity

The number of occupants mentioned at the time of booking and in our rates corresponds to the maximum capacity of our Tiny Houses. No exceptions will be accepted for insurance and safety reasons.

Animals

Pets are not allowed.

Special conditions

Pregnant women over 5 months of age are strongly advised not to enter the Tiny House (as access for emergency services may be difficult).
Access is not recommended to people who sleepwalk, have heart problems or uncorrected vision, or to people in a state of intoxication.
Smoking is not permitted inside the accommodation or on the access roads. All Tiny Houses have a terrace where smoking is permitted (ashtrays provided), as long as no cigarette butts are left in the open air. If the tenant is found to have smoked in the accommodation, or if cigarette butts are found in the vicinity of the Tiny House, the establishment reserves the right to charge a one-night stay for additional cleaning costs and for non-compliance with the rules.

Access

Access to the Tiny House is via a communal road, the entrance to which is on the 155P departmental road as you leave the village in the direction of Château-Salins. Because they are located in the middle of nowhere, the access road to the Tiny Houses can be dirty (dirt, stones).

Degradation

The Tiny Houses are checked, functional and in good condition. Customers are asked to report any deficiencies to the team immediately.
In the event of a problem, the customer will be held liable. In the event of damage, SAS SALINENSIS reserves the right to invoice the customer for the cost of repair or replacement. The same applies to any infringement detected after the customer’s departure, and the amount of compensation will be debited from the customer’s credit card.
In the event of flooding or water damage, whether voluntary or involuntary, the establishment may demand full reimbursement for any damage caused. In the event of damage to other Tiny Houses, reimbursement will be demanded for other customers’ overnight stays.
The establishment may charge a cleaning fee of 50 euros if the room is left in a condition deemed unsuitable. In the event of damage to crockery, utensils, bedding, towels or any other object in the Tiny House, the establishment will demand reimbursement for the damage.
In general, the customer must pay any damage caused directly to SAS SALINENSIS. They may call on their insurance (if they wish to be reimbursed) for any voluntary or involuntary damage caused during their stay.

Valuables

We recommend that you do not leave valuables in the accommodation. The management cannot be held responsible for any theft.
